1) Light is normally defined as the part of the electromagnetic spectrum that is visible to the human eye.
2) Light travels in a straight light- i.e. it is rectilinear.
3) Light follows the ray model. Originating at a point and travelling infinitely in one direction until it is interrupted.
4) Using ray models to study light is called ray optics.
5) Light travels very fast, 300 million meters per second or 186,000 miles per second.
