About Me
My name is Laura Campbell and I live here in Pennsylvania on a farm with my
supportive and loving husband of 34 years . We have 4 grown really great children
and 10 terrific grandchildren that live near us so we are able to spend alot of time
with. I got started in Reborning Dolls about a year ago when we went to visit our
family in New York. My niece is a doll Reborner and she brought me one of her
babies to see. I had never heard of Reborning dolls before so was very curious. I
love anything to do with crafts. When I first saw her baby I was overwhelmed by it,
it was so beautiful. So after returning to our home here in Pa I got online and
researched everything I could find on the art of Reborning. I was Hooked!
I then began to purchase all the books, CD's, paints everything I would need to
start on my Reborning adventure. My first few dolls were not good at all but I was
very persistent so I kept trying. And since my niece was an expert Reborner I had
a million questions and problems that she helped me with. (Thank You Emily)
You know the saying 'We learn by our mistakes" Very True. After a few months
I started using my own techniques that worked so much better for me and my
babies were turning out beautifully. I then moved onto sell Reborn Dolls on
EBay and personal friends, neighbors anyone that wanted to buy one of my
special babies. I am always trying new techniques to make my dolls even more
Lifelike. I hope this will give everyone an idea of what I have to offer them when
making a Reborn.
