Cabin Days!
The 2nd Saturday of every month, 9am - 1pm,
for children ages 8 through 15, and their parents
Spend a Day living in the Log Cabin!
This is a unique opportunity for older children,
aged 8 through 15, and their parents, or other significant adult, to share the experience of family life in a log cabin, as it was in the early 1800's, when the Depreciation Lands were first being settled.
Each day will offer a different program
which includes preparing - and eating! - lunch, cooked in the kitchen hearth. While the lunch cooks, you and your parent will learn a typical craft, such as weaving, knitting, tatting,
or embroidery. Each Saturday will be a complete class with a different craft.
***Pre-registration is required to attend a Cabin Day.*** The cost of $20 per person includes the meal and all craft supplies.
