Be sure to visit the new Talley Cavey Mercantile, a frontier trading post dedicated to Colonial Era items, including all sorts of toys and colonial clothing, locally handcrafted pottery, books, and accouterments for your home. Located in the "Barn", the Mercantile's well stocked shelves of unique and handmade items reflect the history of Talley Cavey, the first village and post office in what would become Hampton Township. The Mercantile is open every Sunday from May through October, and during special events at the Museum.


Visit the Talley Cavey Blacksmith Shop to have ironwork crafted especially for you. Always available are forged hooks and toasting forks. Custom items available on request.
