Through a community placement network and individual initiative each sister, in dialogue with a member of the Servant Leadership Council, selects a particular ministry and is commissioned by the congregation to serve the People of God in that ministry.

Millvale Franciscans seek to serve the poor, the disenfranchised and the frail in ministry selection. As each sister commits herself to ministry she brings the collective wisdom, humility and zeal for service which have characterized the community since its beginning.
